Under the joint leadership of the Ministry of Commerce and the National International Development Cooperation Agency, Beijing Forestry University has been undertaking the Ministry of Commerce's foreign aid training programs for 20 consecutive years since 2005. These programs aim to share development experience and practical technologies with other developing countries and contribute to the enhancement of global ecological governance.

Recently, the 2025 Seminar for Officials on the Development and Management of Forestry Carbon Sequestration Projects in Developing Countries successfully concluded in Beijing, attracting 24 participants from 6 countries alongside the "Belt and Road". Participants engaged in systematic studies on forestry carbon sequestration policies, measurement techniques, market mechanisms and ecological restoration, combined with field visits. Through studying China's ecological civilization policy theories and visiting key ecological projects in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, they witnessed firsthand the deep integration of ecological protection with regional development. Forestry officials highly appreciated China's achievements in ecology, recognizing the program provided valuable practical experience for forestry carbon management.

So how does China turn "lucid waters and lush mountains" into invaluable assets? How China's eco-civilization is inspiring global South? Watch their first-hand experiences and find the answer to harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
