The signed MoU and agreement align with the Education Action Plan for the Belt and Road Initiative and strengthen BFU's partnership with leading universities in ASEAN. They pave the way for collaborative innovation in landscape architecture, architecture and sustainable development, and mark a new stage in bilateral cooperation.

President Li warmly welcomed President Le Quan and his delegation, and gave a concise overview of BFU's development, highlighting the university's academic strengths and outcomes in landscape architecture, urban and rural planning, and related disciplines.

Li noted that BFU is accelerating the construction of a new development pattern of “One University, Two Campuses and a Forest Park”, with plans to expand campus space and enhance overall capacity. He said BFU and Ha Noi Architectural University have already built a strong basis for cooperation and expressed hope that the agreements will enable deeper, multi-form collaboration across a wider range of areas.

Le Quan also expressed gratitude to BFU's warm reception.

He described Ha Noi Architectural University as one of Vietnam's most prominent architecture institutions, with distinctive strengths and development ambitions in architecture, planning and landscape design. He expressed the hope that the two universities will progressively expand joint training programs and, through closer talent cultivation, jointly develop outstanding designers with international vision and innovative capacity.

In his speech, Vice President Zhang Zhiqiang called for establising joint platforms to tackle key issues in modern urban development and advance substantive projects. He expected that the cooperation will continue to deepen and produce tangible results that serve both countries shared needs and contribute to improvements in urban living environments.

Following the ceremony, delegates held in-depth discussions on talent development, research collaboration, and faculty-student exchanges, reaching several agreements on next steps to advance practical cooperation. The visit concluded with a tour and further talks at the College of Landscape Architecture's exhibition hall.
