From June 8 to 11, 19 international students from 10 countries visited Horqin Right Front Banner in Inner Mongolia for a four-day social practice program. Co-organized by BFU and Inner Mongolia Agricultural University under the "Experience China" initiative, the program, which was themed "Beijing and Inner Mongolia Working Together for Rural Revitalization," offered students an immersive look at China's rural development efforts.

The delegation visited local schools, sharing their cultures and connecting with students through international classroom activities. They shared the cultures and traditions of their home countries, toured the campuses, and interacted with local students to foster mutual understanding and friendship.

At Xing'an Vocational and Technical University, they experienced traditional Chinese arts including calligraphy, Chinese chess, paper-cutting, guzheng, and ethnic dance. Several participants were later interviewed by Inner Mongolia Radio and Television, where they shared their impressions of the program.

In rural communities, they explored ecological and smart agriculture projects including Luming Valley, the Tomato Cooperative, a land-based seafood farming project to learn about sustainable aquaculture, and cultural heritage preservation efforts. Visits to grassland sites like Debosi Black Sheep Mountain Tourist Resort and Tubutai Wetland Park offered insights into eco-tourism and conservation practices. The group also worked with local authorities to promote the region's tourism resources through cultural exchange.

The program gave international students a firsthand understanding of China's rural revitalization and ecological achievements. BFU's School of International Education will continue to expand such initiatives, fostering cross-cultural exchange and helping students share China's stories globally.
