The artwork Jinxiu Danqing (Scenic Splendour), created by Shangguan Dayan's team from the College of Arts and Design at Beijing Forestry University, recently won the 2024 European Product Design Award. The piece has also been recognized with Italy's A' Design Award and presented at the Hebei International Industrial Design Week and Asia Design Week.

"Jinxiu Danqing (Scenic Splendour)" is the admission letter for the 2024 postgraduates of Beijing Forestry University. The work is creatively designed in three parts: landscape (envelope), knowledge (admission letter), and action (illustration). The design is inspired by our careful observation of the campus environment and the deep concern for environmental protection. It took 4 months to complete the design and production in Beijing. The team successfully completed 3,000 copies of the admission offer letters and sent them to new students.

Organized by the Farmani Group, the organizer of International Design Awards (IDA), Lucie Awards for Photography, and other top awards in design and photography, the European Product Design Award is a prestigious international award in product design.

The 2024 European Product Design Award attracted submissions from top companies, design organizations, and universities across the globe, spanning 18 categories. In the Professional/Educational category, which included the winning entry, only five works were honored with awards.
