Delegation of University of Auckland visits BFU

Recently, Professor Caroline Daley, Dean of the Graduate School of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, led a delegation to Beijng Forestry University for exchange and research. The person in charge of the Office for International Relations of BFU and the person in charge of the Graduate School, the College of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, the School of Technology and the School of Information Science and Technology attended the meeting.

The head of the Office for International Relations extended a warm welcome to Lorraine Daley and her delegation, and presented her with a BFU souvenir. She briefly introduced the latest development of BFU including international exchanges and cooperation, hoping to promote the cooperation between the two universities in student exchange and academic exchanges.



Lorraine Daley introduced the time-honored history of UOA and the overview of the campus, and introduced the talent training programs and cooperative educations that have been carried out. She hoped that the two sides could carry out in-depth cooperation in student training, and welcomed students from BFU to study and exchange in UOA.


The relevant leaders of the Graduate School, the College of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, the School of Technology and the School of Information Science and Technology introduced their talent training and Sino-foreign cooperative educations.


The two sides exchanged views on the models of cooperation in relevant disciplines and fields, reaching an agreement on in-depth exploration of cooperative majors and  promoting joint training of undergraduate and graduate students from both universities.
