Recently, Professor Stanford Blade, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta, Canada, visited BFU.

President An Lizhe met with the delegation from the University of Alberta. He extended a warm welcome to the delegation and pointed out that BFU has always taken the construction of ecological civilization as the foundation of its development, and has planned to build the systems of discipline, academy and discourse based on serving the national ecological civilization construction. He hoped that the two sides could carry out more extensive and in-depth exchanges and cooperation with each other in personnel training, international scientific and technological cooperation and other aspects on the basis of profound friendship and solid cooperation, so as to promote the common development of the two universities.

Professor Stanford Blade expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the University of Alberta. He said that Beijing Forestry University is an important partner of them and the two sides have great potential for cooperation.
