On October 10th, BFU inaugurated the 2025 Mental Health Education Month with an opening ceremony attended by Sun Xinli, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee.
Sun scommended the achievements in the BFU’s mental health education over the past year, highlighting three significant shifts: the focus is moving from "crisis intervention" towards "active prevention"; the service model is evolving from "one-model-fits-all" to exploring "targeted and precise approaches"; and the educational platforms are transitioning from "primarily offline" to a "blended online and offline" format. She hoped that the university's efforts would continue to focus on deepening the integration of the Five Domains of Education, promoting narrative change, and strengthening professional support, thereby promoting psychological education towards a new stage.

The ceremony included the recognition of outstanding awardees from the 2025 College Student Mental Health Season. This was followed by the delivery of presentations from select winners, covering the psychological work model of the School of Information Technology, the role of sports in fostering teamwork and perseverance (as shared by Beijing Fun Sports Meet champions), and the essential qualities of an effective psychological committee member.
The second "Psychological Fair" was held at the same time. A team of professional doctors from the United Third Party Branch of Beijing Anding Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University, offered on-site free consultations. The Psychological Center collaborated with 10 schools to set up diverse and engaging mental health experience booths. The fair received an active response from students, creating a lively atmosphere.
Recently, the School of Technology organized the 12th Soul Workshop, a digital painting activity, in the One-Stop Student Community, attended by over 30 students and school counselors. Guided by staff, students immersed themselves in creating arts such as lively anime characters and magnificent starry skies. Students reported that the activity not only enriched their extracurricular life but also allowed them to appreciate the charm of art.
Coinciding with the "World Mental Health Day" on October 10th under the global theme "Mental Health for All," BFU's 5th Mental Health Education Month kicked off with the theme "Warm Hearts, Growing Minds."
