Recently, the College of Art and Design at Beijing Forestry University (BFU) and the University of Dundee held a signing ceremony to initiate their collaborative education project. The event was attended by Professor Cameron Wilson, Deputy Dean of the School of Art and Design at the University of Dundee, along with the Deputy Director of BFU's Office for International Relations. Leaders from BFU's School of Art and Design and heads of various departments were also present at the ceremony.

They viewed the signing ceremony as an opportune moment to bolster collaboration in various sectors, including the joint training of master's students, research partnerships, the development of shared platforms, and the exchange of staff members. In response, Professor Cameron Wilson recognized the School of Art and Design at BFU for its robust foundation, its commitment to fostering a partnership with the University of Dundee's corresponding school, its substantial backing, rich talent pool, and dynamic growth potential. He voiced a desire for both institutions to delve into research and creative endeavors alongside their collaborative student training initiatives, aspiring for mutual gains and aiming to achieve a synergistic cooperation through high-caliber partnership.
Founded in 1881, University of Dundee is a world-class famous research university located in the city of Dundee, Scotland. The Duncan Jordanstone School of Art and Design at the University of Dundee has been named one of the five best art schools in Europe. According to the cooperation agreement between the two sides, the "1+1+1" graduate and dual master's joint training program and the "4+1" undergraduate and master's joint training program will be launched, and the learning experience, courses, credits and degrees will be recognized by the two universities for the joint cultivation of integrated high-end talents with international vision and global competitiveness.
