Recently, Amalia Di Iorio, Vice President of La Trobe University, Australia, and his delegation came to Beijing Forestry University for exchange. Vice President of BFU Li Xiong attended the meeting.

Li Xiong extended a warm welcome to Amalia Di Iorio and his delegation. He pointed out that BFU adheres to the task of ecological civilization construction, and has accumulated strong strength and school-running advantages in forestry education. BFU has long been committed to expanding international partnerships with foreign universities, and this exchange is a good start for the two universities to develop a cooperative relationship. It is hoped that the two sides will further strengthen cooperation in personnel training, scientific research and other aspects in the future, and pool the superior disciplinary resources of both sides to achieve mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.

Amalia Di Iorio expressed his gratitude to BFU for its warm reception and introduced the history, school-running, running the school, disciplines of advantages, and the professional settings of La Trobe University. At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of the International Relations Office introduced BFU. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on inter-school cooperation agreements, student exchange programs, joint training and academic research cooperation and other cooperation aspects, and agreed to carry out further exchanges to promote win-win development.

The delegation also visited the campus and BFU museum to experience the campus culture and the academic atmosphere of BFU.
