Party Committee Secretary Wang Hongyuan highlighted that convening meetings in the newly completed Logistics Service Building on the Xiong'an campus demonstrates BFU's dedication to advancing education of the highest caliber. This commitment aligns with the precepts outlined by the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, demonstrating a steadfast determination towards innovation and reform. He remarked that the completion of this building represents a new chapter for the Party Committee's activities at the Xiong'an campus. It signals the university's "vanguard" taking their positions and the preliminary phase of actualizing the "One University with Two Campuses" model, indicating the simultaneous operational initiation of both the Beijing and Xiong'an campuses. This development is a crucial stride towards BFU's ambition of setting the benchmark in forestry education. On behalf of the Party Committee, Wang extended his gratitude to the BFU Xiong'an Campus Construction teams and associated departments for their relentless endeavors. Furthermore, he urged all university divisions to deeply integrate the principles articulated during the Third Plenary Session, to embrace greater purposes and responsibilities, and to aim for an elevated standard of development for the Xiong'an campus. This, he argued, would aid BFU in its journey to becoming a globally recognized institution in forestry education.

President An Lizhe emphasized the significant milestone marked by the inauguration of the first building on the Xiong'an campus, the Logistics Service Building, which is the first construction project there. This act reflects BFU's commitment to major national directives, including strengthening educational infrastructure, regional development synergy with Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, and the development of the Xiong'an New Area. It's a strategic step towards addressing historical challenges, breaking through developmental barriers, enhancing community welfare, and ensuring high standards and quality in the campus development. This initiative highlights the determination of BFU Xiong'an Campus Construction teams to lead and make significant contributions to the future of BFU. It also illustrates the comprehensive strategic vision of the entire university community, the proactive spirit of all the faculty and students, and the collective resolve to pursue high-quality growth. An urges the continued dedication and collaboration of all involved, aiming to create an ideal environment for teaching, learning, and living that aligns with the aspirations of our entire academic community, thereby bringing to fruition the vision of "One University with Two Campuses" as soon as possible.
