Building a beautiful China where humanity and nature exist in harmony

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the government have thoroughly act in accordance with the gist of Xi Jinping's Thought on Ecological Civilization and a series of important speeches to Beijing, and vigorously promoted the construction of ecological civilization in the capital, creating miracles of ecological construction and green development, which demonstrated a positive image of the capital of a great power.
Recetly, Qianxian, a key journal supervised by Beijing Municipal Committee, published an artical by Lin Zhen, Dean of Ecological Civilization Research Institute, Professor of the School of Maxism, Beijing Forestry University. In the article, Lin Zhen pointed out three important prerequisites to build a beautiful China where humanity and nature exist in harmony.
In the new journey to achieve the Second Centenary Goal, development plans must be made on the basis of a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature and by the guidance of the gist of the 20th CPC National Congress. We need to adhere to the essential requirements of harmonious coexistence, and constantly strengthen a green background for a beautiful Beijing; adhere to the basic path of cooperation and co-governance, and constantly improve the governance system of a beautiful Beijing; adhere to the fundamental goal of harmony and prosperity and constantly improve the ecological well-being of a beautiful Beijing.
