On April 1, Mr. Chen Guoji, Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong SAR Government, led a delegation from the "University Town Planning and Construction Group" under the "Northern Metropolis Development Committee" on an official inspection at BFU Xiongan Campus, accompanied by Mr. Huang Wunan, Deputy Party Secretary of the university and Commander of the Xiongan Campus Planning and Construction Headquarters.

Huang extended a warm welcome to the delegation and emphasized the significance of the construction of the Xiongan Campus. He also looked forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong universities in areas such as talent cultivation, scientific research, and ecological governance.

Speaking highly of the construction achievements of BFU Xiongan Campus, Chen believed it will inject strong momentum into BFU's high-quality development and make great contributions to the national ecological civilization strategy. The 42-member delegation included senior officials from Hong Kong's government departments and vice-chancellors from eight universities, accompanied by representatives from central and local authorities.
