On May 27, the 3rd Beijing Forestry University International Culture Festival and Student Club Festival, themed "Green Harmony, Shared Future", took place on Ginkgo Avenue. Deputy Party Secretary Nan Jue attended the opening ceremony, together with faculty and student representatives from peer universities in Beijing and international students from around the world.

At the opening ceremony, Nan Jue presented flags and action badges to representatives of the "Green Future Guardians" China‑foreign student social practice group. As part of a city‑wide youth action plan, the group will focus on the "Study in BFU, Experience China" initiative, engaging in ecological field studies, green outreach, and volunteer activities to put ecological civilization into practice and tell China's green story to the world. 

The ceremony was followed by a lively performance showcase. Chinese and international students wearing traditional attire presented dances and songs that reflected their countries' cultural heritage and youthful energy. All performers joined in a chorus of "Together for a Shared Future", expressing a common aspiration for cross‑cultural cooperation and a better tomorrow. 

The festival blended multicultural and eco‑themed experiences. Visitors carried specially designed "cultural passports" and explored country booths in an interactive, stamp‑collection style. Students from Vietnam, Thailand, and other countries displayed their ecological traditions and folk culture; those from Pakistan, Russia, and elsewhere introduced unique ethnic customs and handmade crafts; while students from Rwanda, Ghana, and beyond highlighted local cultural and natural features. These international displays were seamlessly integrated with traditional Chinese calligraphy, painting, and musical instrument experiences. Student clubs also organized hands‑on activities such as flower displays, specimen making, and eco‑crafts, fostering cross‑cultural dialogue and environmental awareness. 

Rooted in openness and green values, the festival served as more than a campus celebration. It became a youth declaration for a sustainable future, building bridges of mutual learning and friendship between Chinese and international students.
