NAN, born in September 1982, is a CPC member holding a bachelor's and a master's degree. He previously served as deputy director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, deputy director of the Human Resources Office, director of the Party Committee Inspection Office, and director of the Party and Administrative Affairs Office (concurrently director of the Legal Affairs Office) of Beijing Forestry University. He was appointed to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and deputy secretary of Beijing Forestry University in February 2026.

Chiefly responsible for publicity, ideological and cultural work, campus security, student affairs, career services and entrepreneurship, as well as procurement and bidding, he also assists the secretary of the University Party Committee in supervising administrative operations, legal affairs, and archives management. He directly supervises the Publicity Department (News Office, University History Museum), the Security Department, the Graduate Work Department, the Student Affairs Office (Student Affairs Office, Student Mental Health Education Center), the Armed Forces Department, the Admission and Employment Office, the University Youth League Committee, and the Procurement and Bidding Management Center. He is also the designated university liaison to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Science, and the School of Art and Design.
