In October, the heady fragrance of laurel blossoms wafted through the fresh air. From October 14th to 15th, the Retirement Office of BFU organized the retired people to carry out a fun entertainment activity on the theme of “Make life better through personally engagement in garbage sorting”. Corresponding events were simultaneously held in Bairuyuan Residential Quarters (phase I, phase II) as well as in the Western Residential Quarter on the University campus.
Ostrya japonica population, the largest and the most precious commercial tree species in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region was found in Beijing. The discovery was made by a team led by Mu Xianyun, an associate professor of the School of Ecology and Nature Conservation of BFU, during a recent scientific expedition to the Mount Wuling Nature Reserve in Beijing.
“ Egg Packaging Design for t he Zhan y i Farm of Horqin Right Front Banner in Inner Mongolia ”, a project completed by BFU team under its Poverty Alleviation through S&T initiative, was recently awarded gold medal in the first “Beautiful Countryside” Art Competition. the poverty elimination project of our university, was awarded the gold medal.
