Recently, in order to implement the requirements of Bejing Forestry University's action to promote employment by visiting enterprises, expand job information and improve the quality of studying abroad, the School of Economics and Management organized a special job fair and overseas study consultation meeting for 2023 graduates.
24 high-quality employers from all over the country were invited to attend the conference, including the Internet, new energy, finance, foreign trade, property, medicine and other industries. In addition, there are 4 overseas study consulting sections which provide students with all-round guidance on study abroad planning to match students’ personalized needs for further study.
At the site, persons in charge from the employment and entrepreneurship guidance Center of BFU and colleges communicated with the employers about the recruitment needs of the enterprises and the situation of graduates' job application face-to-face, and expressed their gratitude to them. The platform provides not only two-way understanding and selection between students and units, but also an important opportunity for bilateral cooperation between colleges and enterprises, which is conducive to expanding employment space for students and boosting employment confidence.
In addition, the School of Economics and Management seized the important opportunity of spring career fairs and carried out related activities such as face-to-face overseas study themed salon, lectures on overseas study experience sharing and so on. Besides, the college encourages students to work as interns in international organizations and continue to provide overseas study information for graduates with the intention of further study.
It is reported that the School of Economics and Management will continue to make full use of all resources for the development and maintenance of the relationships between the college and industry associations, enterprises, key employers and employment bases, and carry out enterprises-visiting activities in a regular and sustainable way to build a multi-dimensional platform for cooperation between the college and enterprises as well as promote the job market development.
